The Client

The client Shop Bargain Club is a unique E-commerce store based in Toronto, Canada. The store sells a wide range of products from household essentials, health and beauty products to office supplies and stationary at great bargains. In business since 1990, the client is a leading name in Canada in the e-commerce space and has recently started catering to the US market as well through Amazon US.

The Challenge

The client already had his own team based in Canada to handle the back-end operations. Gradually the client decided to expand his product base to include new products to cater to the growing market need. With new items being added to the mix every day the list of vendors grew.

Soon the e-commerce revolution saw the growth of online marketplaces like Amazon, eBay etc that mirrored traditional retail. Recognizing the need of the hour, the client realized the need to expand its market and took to listing its products on leading marketplaces like Amazon and eBay. This meant access to a much wider market, bigger audience and therefore a better shot at sales.

Listing and optimizing products on portals like Amazon, eBay while at the same time keeping its own website up to date with new products, prices and deals meant a lot of work. Beyond what the client’s own in-house team could manage. They needed help.

The Solution

The client decided to outsource the work as hiring people in-house would have put pressure on company’s finances. Outsourcing seemed a reasonable alternative. Therefore the company decided to partner with Ace-ecomm Services 2 years ago to leverage our expertise in e-commerce solutions.
